The Asian Universities for Tourism, Hospitality and Events Education (AUTHEE) is a body of international scholars established to represent the interests of higher education institutions and individual members involved in tourism, hospitality, and events education and research at the bachelor’s level and above in Vietnam, as well as across Asia.

Founded in 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, AUTHEE offers conferences and forums for higher education providers involved in teaching, research, and administration of tourism, hospitality, and events education. The organization facilitates networking opportunities for academics interested in these fields through conferences, forums, special interest groups, and workshops for PhD scholars, early-career researchers, and mid-career academics.

Each year, AUTHEE’s annual conference is hosted by a committee from either a single institution or a consortium of nearby institutions, welcoming academics, students, and industry professionals. The inaugural conference will be held in July 2025 at the modern, well-equipped facilities of Van Lang University's Faculty of Tourism in Ho Chi Minh City.

AUTHEE’s official journal, led by Editor-in-Chief xxx and published by xxx, covers a broad range of topics including tourism management, leisure, recreation studies, and event management. It publishes both theoretical and applied research and encourages submissions based on collaborative projects between academia and industry.
