Calls for Papers

The AUTHEE 2025 Organizing Committee is inviting submissions of Full Research Papers that align with this year’s theme: "Sustainable and Innovative Futures for Tourism, Hospitality, and Events in Asia and the Pacific."

We encourage contributors to present fresh ideas and initiatives that can drive transformative change in the sector, offering key insights into how we can seize opportunities to build more sustainable and innovative futures.

  • Innovation in Sustainable Destination Management
  • Leadership and governance in tourism and hospitality
  • Wellbeing in tourism and hospitality
  • Eco-tourism, Heritage tourism

  • Human Resources in tourism and hospitality

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

  • The abstract should be between 200-250 words in length. The abstract should give a clear, concise, and informative summary with scope and purpose, significant results and major conclusions as well as an indication of any new findings. 
  • For the main text is to be formatted in Times New Roman, 12-point font, sentence case, line spaces: 1.5, and justified
  • Keyword: up to 5 keywords

Submission Process and Guidelines: All papers must comply with the provided Paper Formatting Guidelines. If your submission is accepted, at least one author must register, attend, and present at the Conference.

All papers will undergo a blind peer-review process overseen by the Editorial Board and the Scientific Committee. Feedback and suggestions from reviewers will be provided to help improve the quality of your research.

Presentation Details: Presentations will be categorized as either Standard Presentations or PhD/Industry Expert Presentations, depending on the paper's theme and suitability for the format.

  • Standard Presentations: 15-minute presentation + Q&A for full research papers.
  • PhD Presentations: 15-minute presentation + Q&A for PhD students or early-career rsearchers.
  • Industry Expert Presentations: 15-minute presentation + Q&A for leading industry professionals contributing insights and trends.

A chairperson will moderate each session, and accepted presenters will be eligible for Early Bird Registration rates.
